The Catellani and Smith Jackie O was designed upon the request of an architect. When wanting to replace the WaWa light he already possessed, he contacted Catellani. The piece would replace the WaWa that had light up one of his large tables.

While working on another project, Catellani developed his signature blue cable that carries across his fabulous idea of absolute zero. This idea eliminates all that is unnecessary. Because the cables cannot be eliminated, absolute zero is achieved with his almost invisible, thin blue cable.

The Catellani and Smith Jackie O stays true to the minimalistic and effective style that Enzo Catellani has proven over and over again. The Catellani and Smith Jackie O is a chic and minimalist pendant lamp that looks as beautiful as the light it emanates.

The Catellani and Smith Jackie O has two variations:

JC mod: with a blue cable, nickel-plated copper curl, removable glass lens, nickel ceiling jack connection. It is 120 cm in total height, and needs a hole of 1.3 cm and a depth of 3.5 cm for installation.

IC mod: with a blue cable, nickel-plated copper curl, removable glass lens, nickel recessed plate. It is 175 cm in total height, and has a plate of 7 cm in diameter. It needs a hole 5.5 cm in width and a minimum depth of 3.5 cm for installation.
