The Marset Vetra Pendant Lamp was designed by renowned Marset designer Joan Gaspar. It was launched by Marset in 2018. The Marset Vetra Pendant Lamp has the look of a traditional, old-fashioned blown glass lamp. But as soon as it is turned on, it delivers a surprise. Joan Gaspar used a fully enclosed glass diffuser as a reflector. The Marset Vetra Pendant Lamp has a creatively placed light source on the outside of the shade.
The Vetra emits more light than anyone could expect. The Vetra’s light shines without glare. Much of the light is directed straight downwards. The rest of the light is filtered to the inside of the shade, which in turn is subtly illuminated. This system works like an echo by multiplying the light; when it is on, its entire outline is drawn out and seems to come alive.
This Vetra collection is designed in several versions. They consist of a table, suspension and floor model. Each has different diameters, 20, 32 and 43 cm. Used alone or in a group of variations, the Vetra is a great addition to any dining area.
